Samsung introduces the new Level Box mini Bluetooth speaker w/ 25 hours of battery life and deep app integration

Samsung has announced a new addition to its Level Box Bluetooth speaker line-up today. The Level Box mini offers a similar experience as its larger counterpart and packs up to 25 hours of battery life into a 33% smaller speaker.

The metallic body houses a (55mm) stereo speaker and a passive radiator Samsung says delivers “premium-quality sound that is powerful, crisp and balanced.” The new mini speaker is also deeply integrated with Samsung’s Level App which comes with a number of handy features like Volume Control, Text-to-Speech and S Voice, Samsung’s intelligent personal assistant. It also uses SoundAlive technology which intelligently analyzes audio sources and makes subtle adjustments “to ensure the best sound quality.”

More details below:

Along with the 25 hours of battery life from the on-board 1,600mAh battery, the Level Box mini features your usual NFC pairing, noise reduction/echo cancellation as well as a mic and controls for conference calls and music playback.

The new Level Box mini will be available in blue, blue/black, red and silver, but Samsung is yet to give a suggested retail price. The Level Box, which has so far received positive reviews, is listed at $169.99 at Best Buy and Amazon so the mini will likely land south of that. There are also two variants of premium headphones as part of Samsung’s new Level line of products which have also received favorable early reviews.
