Apple drops refurbished 5K iMac pricing down to lowest ever in light of today’s announcement

Today, Apple announced new models with lower prices for its 27-inch iMac with 5K Retina display, bringing the cost down to $1,999. This new entry-level model has slower a slower processor than its predecessor and a traditional hard drive. Apple has reduced the price on the refurbished 27-inch iMac with 5K Retina display (FF886LL/A) 3.5GHz/8GB/1TB model to $1,949 with free shipping. This model originally retailed for $2,499, it previously went for $2,119 in refurbished condition and is the lowest price we’ve ever seen on a Retina iMac.

It’s a no-brainer for those have been waiting for a time to get in on Apple’s gorgeous 27-inch Retina display. To summarize, you’ll be getting a previous model for $50 less than today’s new entry-level with a faster processor and a Fusion hard drive as opposed to the traditional mechanical version. All refurbished Apple products go through a stringent process prior to being sold and include a one-year warranty.

This Apple iMac features a 27-inch Retina 5K IPS display with a native resolution of 5120×2880, a 3.5GHz i5 Quad-Core processor, 8GB of RAM and a 1TB Fusion Drive. Additionally, it supports 802.11ac wireless and has two Thunderbolt 2 and four USB 3.0 inputs.
