Update (5/29 6:15pm): The Inkling Boy amiibo is currently available on Amazon.

If you’re into gaming and making a mess, its a good day for you. Splatoon for Wii U is now available for your virtual paint throwing pleasure. In classic Nintendo fashion, this colorful, cartoon-based game is brimming with fun times. Head below for more details and find out how you can get a special console bundle today or even a custom Splatoon squirt gun.

The premise is simple but is a great time. Your team’s goal is to spread as much paint (or ink) around an area as possible, claiming it for yourself. The more turf you claim, the better guns and weapons you’ll have at your disposal. Splatoon has all the popular shoot’em up weapons as well as some classic painting tools. That’s right, giant paintbrushes and sniper rifles make up the artillery in this game.

Online multiplayer allows gamers to team up with friends and take on Inklings from all over the world. Even better, Splatoon has its own series of amiibo. These add-ons unlock extra features and bring next level interaction to the game. Of course, amiibo can be hard to find, but we’re keeping an eye for you.

Splatoon is available for purchase today, you can pick it up as a bundle with a Wii U console for $299.99 or just grab the game itself for $59.96 from Amazon. The amiibo launched today, but are currently sold out online so we’d recommend stopping by your local Best Buy or Target to snag one. There are even Splatoon squirt guns and some pretty cool merchandise out there as well.
