Xbox One bundle/controller & refreshed Playstation 4 consoles leak ahead of E3

E3 2015, the biggest event in the gaming world, is just around the corner now. The event is generally rife with new game debuts, hardware upgrades and even price drops. While major publishers and gaming companies try their best to keep the wraps on the biggest announcements (The Last Guardian???), some early hardware details from Microsoft and Sony have started to leak out:

While likely not intended, Microsoft has already shown some of its cards with a rumored, 3.5mm jack equipped Xbox One wireless controller along with a brand new Xbox One bundle. The ID@Xbox console bundle ships with the Kinectless Xbox One plus download codes for 7 indie games including Threes!, #IDARB, The Jackbox Party Pack, Hand of Fate and Never Alone. You’ll also find DLC add-ons for Warframe and Smite beta in the package, along with the headphone jack equipped controller above. The bundle was spotted on Microsoft’s Australian storefront, and has since been removed. There is no word on whether or not the bundle will make it stateside, but reports suggest it will (in some form or other).

As for Sony, a couple of recently published documents at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) show the the likely possibility of two new Playstation 4 models. They appear to be refreshed variants or an evolution on the current gen machine’s internals, as opposed to complete redesigns. Currently only known by product numbers: CUH-1215A  and CUH-1215B, the main differences here are in the disk space with the latter boasting a 1TB drive. Outside of that, the new models appear to be very similar to current gen offerings with the same 2.75GHz clock speed and foot print.
