Limited edition PS4 accessories give gamers another chance to celebrate PlayStation’s 20th Anniversary

Sony sent gamers into a tizzy when it released the limited edition PlayStation 4 20th Anniversary Edition console late last year. Splashed in original PSX grey with the throwback colorful PS logo, the console was full of nostalgia. All of the 12,300 units sold out instantly and began fetching insane numbers on eBay (but have recently fallen).

This week at E3 2015 Sony announced two new PlayStation accessories that also pay homage to their roots. The limited edition Dualshock 4 controller and wireless Gold headset will make old school gamers tingle with joy. Here’s a closer look at their details and how you can get your pre-order in starting today…

The 20th Anniversary Dualshock 4 controller is functionally identical to all other models, but it has a few cosmetic touches that make it visually stunning for PS fans: it’s decked out in original PS grey color and the PS button uses the multi-color logo. It’s pretty close to the same style that was included with the 20th Anniversary console, but it looks like the touch pad on the new controller won’t have the square, triangle, circle, and X logos inscribed on it.

The new controller is set to launch in September for $64.99 and is now available for pre-order from Best Buy, Walmart, and Newegg, with Amazon coming soon.

Again, the 20th Anniversary Gold Wireless Stereo Headset is just about the same as the original version except that it is also outfitted with the same grey color and original PS logo. Release timeline for this item is a bit more vague, but pre-orders are now available from Walmart for $100 and are coming soon to Amazon and Newegg.

Update (6/18 1:20pm): Amazon is now accepting preorders for the 20th Anniversary Gold Headset, but it’s listed below msrp at $64.99.
