The LEGO Architect shows you how to build exact replicas of famous buildings and homes

With near certainty I can assume that most of you set out at one point or another to recreate a building with LEGO. I can also assume that it didn’t look quite right. Well, now is the time to redeem yourself. A new book, called The LEGO Architect, is on its way to detail how to build some of the most well-known buildings in the world out of those infamous plastic blocks.

We’re talking step-by-step instructions on how to make your own Lever House, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Prairie House and many more. Head below for more details on other house designs, LEGO sets for this book and pre-ordering.

According to author Tom Alphin, most of the beautiful recreations can be made out of regular LEGO sets or the recently released LEGO Architecture Studio Playset. Each building or house has extremely detailed plans on how to put it together as well professional photography of the finished product and the original structure. All told, the book covers years of architectural movements from Prairie style to neoclassicism, Art Deco, modern and post-modern to current day designs.

There is a lot of visual beauty in this book, I’m planning on buying one just for my coffee table alone. For LEGO enthusiasts or as an educational tool, there is a lot of potential here for this book. It is currently available for pre-order today from Amazon as a hardcover for $18.46 with a scheduled release date of September 25th. Amazon’s pre-order price guarantee promises to only change you for the lowest price possible when it ships.
