Samsung follows the mothership again with new gold on-ear wireless headphones

Samsung is back again with a new addition to its line-up of Bluetooth headphones. Today, the popular electronics maker has introduced the Level On Wireless Pro set of cans that are made with high quality audio in mind. Samsung touts a “premium design and comfortable fit” as highlights of these new headphones. Of course, they look at little familiar

High quality audio has seen a spike in interest over the last year, with more services offering the opportunity to hear your favorite music as it was intended. Many users however simply do not have the kind of headphones that can support the increased bitrate, leaving them back at square one. Consumers that prefer wireless headphones are left even further out in the cold as many Bluetooth options do not support high quality audio.

Samsung’s new Level On Wireless Pro features UHQ audio which the manufacturer states is higher quality than a CD. Bluetooth 4.1 and suport for aptX, AAC and SBC audio also play a large role in delivering a true-to-sound playback experience. Other features include active noise canceling, memory foam cushions and on-ear controls. Samsung’s Level App controls EQ levels, volume monitoring and voice notifications from your device. The Level One Wireless Pro headphones are rated for 10 hours of playback with noise cancellation or 20 hours without. A 3.5mm audio cable is included for hardwiring these headphones, as well as a microUSB cable for charging.

Samsung will be releasing the new Level On Wireless Pro’s in gold and black, although pricing has yet to be announced. We’d expect this new model to come in at a higher price point than the wired version that was released back in the winter.
