Tile announces a new generation of its Bluetooth tracker

Tile, the popular stick-anywhere Bluetooth tracker, has announced a new generation of its product. After selling more than two million units worldwide, it’s now time to upgrade the hardware with new features and improved software. This iteration has been redesigned to make sure that users are losing less and finding more of the things that are most important to them.

Head below for full details and to find out how you can order one today.

Tile is touting its 2nd generation as the “easiest Find My Phone” ecosystem on the market. This new system is three fold: first, by pressing the button on Tile your phone will ring if it is within 100 feet. If you were to be without your phone or Tile, you can log-in to the web app and look for your iOS or Android device. Finally, the Tile app can be paired with another phone to find its last known location in relation to the other device.

Additional improvements include a louder tone emitting from the Tile in comparison to previous generations and a new end-of-life battery replacement program. Now, Tile will collect and recycle “99% of the material” that is returned. It will then offer eligible users an updated tile at a discounted price.

The new generation of Tile is available today at Amazon carrying a $25 price tag or $70 for 4 and at T-Mobile retail stores nationwide.
