As we rapidly approach this year’s tax deadline, it’s our annual reminder that we need printers in our life. Sure, it is fully possible to live a paperless existence but sometimes we just have to go back to the old standby. That said, companies like Epson and Brother continue to churn out high-quality printers that are worth checking out.
Today, Epson has launched its newest release: the XP-430. This Small-in-One printer offers a slim footprint and checks every box in terms of features, including AirPrint. With scan, copy and printing capabilities, it’s time to kick your old printer to curb in favor of something a little more useful…
Described by Epson as an “ultra-compact” printer, the XP-430 comes in at 11.8 x 15.4 x 5.7-inches and weighs just over nine-pounds. For further comparison, similar full featured options from Brother weigh nearly 22-pounds. Epson has clearly made an effort here to slim down it’s latest offering. Despite its small frame, this printer still has every feature needed to be considered for your home office.
Most notably is its ability to print, scan and copy alongside built-in wireless functionality for popular platforms like AirPrint and Google Cloud Print. With USB connectivity as well, there is no shortage of ways to get your digital documents on paper.
There is a 2.7-inch color LCD display on the front that can be used for setup and to handle each aspect of the XP-430’s functionality. The middle control panel and display folds out for easy access. Additional features include a 100-sheet capacity and up to 9 pages per second print speeds.
Epson has given its new printer a price tag of $99.99 but you can grab it today from Amazon for $88. If you’re in need of more power, we recommend this Brother Laser Printer that offers AirPrint and all-in-one functionality. It’s a great time to upgrade your setup as taxes come due in the coming week.
