Reversible USB Lightning cable available for purchase ahead of its potential launch alongside iPhone 6

Apple might be readying a new Lightning cable to ship alongside iPhone 6. Even if that doesn’t come to fruition, you can still pick one up right now and solve one of life’s greatest first world problems.

Truffol, an online gadget accessories seller, is now listing a reversible USB Lightning cable for $9.99. It’s 3.3ft long (same as the standard Apple cable), but more importantly, you can insert the USB end with either side facing up (just like the Lightning end):

We’ve seen supposed leaks of similar products since rumors began to swirl of Apple creating one, but this is the first we’ve seen one readily available for sale. It’s not MFi and there aren’t any user reviews available at this time, so who knows if it will even properly charge/sync your iDevices. Either way, it’s interesting to get an advanced peek at an accessory that Apple may unveil next month.

Another option is to make your current Lightning cable reversible with this $7 adapter or this $4.99 (Amazon add-on item) right-angle adapter.

If you aren’t the type of person to shove unauthorized accessories into your prized Apple devices (like me!), then I recommend checking out this roundup of our favorite Apple-certified MFi Lightning accessories.
