Today we have some new details on what to expect when PlayStation TV launches later this year as well as a brand new line of PC gaming peripherals from Corsair. To coincide with the launch of its gaming division, the new RGB keyboards and mice are forged from the company’s “engineering know-how and developed alongside eSports professionals and gaming enthusiasts.”

The K95, K70 and K65 RGB gaming keyboards are Corsair Gaming’s new flagship products and feature German-made Cherry MX RGB mechanical key switches, an aircraft-grade aluminum baseplate and a 16.8 million multicolor per-key backlighting system. Used in conjunction with the Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) software, gamers can get immediate custom feedback with “unlimited lighting effects and macros, from solid colors that can highlight key groupings, to smooth gradients, dramatic waves and captivating ripple patterns,” according to Corsair.
Suggested retail listings are as follows: K95 RGB $189.99, K70 RGB $169.99, K65 RGB $149.99.
Also equipped with the same lighting tech, the new M65 RGB gaming mouse (black or white) features three backlit zones, 8 programmable buttons, real-time DPI switching and a 8,200 DPI gaming-grade laser sensor that offers “pixel-precise tracking.” It is also made with aN aircraft-grade aluminum baseplate and includes Omron switches rated for 20 million clicks.
Lastly, the new H series gaming headsets come in two variations the wired H1500 and the wireless H2100. Both models feature Dolby 7.1 surround sound, micro-fiber wrapped memory foam earpads, and a unidirectional noise-cancelling microphone. The wireless H2100 offer about 10 hours of playtime and have a 40 foot range.
The M65 RGB gaming mouse has a suggested retail listing of $69.99 and the H series headphones go for between $79.99 and $99.99. All of the above mentioned products ship with a 2 year warranty from Corsair.
The quality will likely be high across the board here, most of Corsair’s gaming peripherals have received 4+ star ratings on Amazon. Keep in mind these are the RGB models with multiple backlight colors, the previous versions of both the mouse and keyboards can be had for less on Amazon.
Next up, Sony has revealed some details on PlayStation TV today. The mini streaming entertainment/gaming console is set to realease in North America on October 14th, and according to Sony there will be nearly 700 games to play on day one for those in the US and Canada. SCEA’s VP of Platforms Marketing John Koller said to expect titles from established franchises and studios like Metal Gear Solid as well as Persona 4 Golden and Killzone: Mercenary. Sony has plans to continue to offer more content as time goes forward including “fan favorites like Minecraft and more.”
PS TV will launch on October 14th for $99.99 but there is also a bundle deal that ships with a Wireless Controller (DUALSHOCK 3), 8GB memory card, and The LEGO Movie Videogame for $139.99. Sony also announced a Walmart exclusive bundle that comes with everything in the above package plus Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time for $139.99, but that bundle doesn’t appear to be available online yet.
