CES roundup: FirstBuild’s ChillHub Smart Fridge, Harman’s Yurbuds, SanDisk, Linksys, and Netgear

Introduced this morning on the floor of CES, The ChillHub is a refrigerator with two 4-port USB hubs, built-in Wi-Fi, and an open-source iOS-compatible app. The idea is that you can access sensor data and control the fridge components remotely. This “first-of-its-kind platform” enables the development of new hardware products that benefit from operating inside a cooled space.

FirstBuild, the company that developed the “smart fridge,” describe ChillHub as an open development platform designed for “makers, hackers, tinkerers and developers”.
