MacBook accessories are a dime a dozen. There is everything from plastic to decals to encyclopedia-inspired enclosures. Playing off an already familiar idea, one Kickstarter project is aiming to marry LEGO and MacBook into a protective yet customizable experience.

The Brik Case puts a LEGO, Mega Bloks and K’NEX compatible shield on the lid of your MacBook Pro or Air allowing users to make creations that pop off the device. While the available funding options do include a bag of bricks with 100 1×1 blocks, any existing products from the aforementioned companies will work. This means you can put custom messages on your MacBook lid, or build that Star Wars LEGO/MacBook combo that you’ve been talking about for years. Whatever your dreams may be, the Brik Case offers a pretty cool amount of flexibility to make you stand out amongst the crowd.
The Brik Case currently has 25 days left on its Kickstarter, having raised over 80% of its goal. By pledging $30, you’ll be able to grab a case, one bag of bricks with 100 1×1 blocks. Additional rewards bring more cases and blocks at discounted rates.
