Even with Apple’s official Lightning dock for iPhone 6 and 6 Plus finally being released, there’s still a huge opportunity for third party accessory makers. After all, not everyone is looking for an ultra minimalist $39 plastic dock.
ElevationLab’s updated ElevationDock 3 takes several cues from its predecessor, going in a completely different direction than Apple: it’s hefty, crafted from aluminum and is available in several colors.
Most importantly, the dock is now wider so it can accommodate iPhone 6 Plus as well as thicker cases. Other upgrades include new lateral supports to “prevent wobble,” and the inclusion of an Apple-certified Lightning cable.

The CNC milled aluminum creates a seamless design, while a 20-step anodizing process makes for a beautiful finish. ElevationDock 3 uses its overall weight and NanoPad air vacuums on the dock’s bottom to keep it in place even during iPhone removal.
ElevationDock 3 is available now in silver, black, red, or blue for $89.
