Motorola recently launched its 4th-generation budget-minded G-Series smartphone, and you can now score a $50 Amazon gift card along with purchase. The phone, which comes unlocked and works on any major US carrier, starts at just $249 for the 16 GB model with 2 GB of RAM. The base model is $199.99 with the same $50 gift card promotion.
We recently reviewed the Moto G4 Plus and the even cheaper Moto G4 base model smartphones on 9to5Google, and both phones were generally well received. The G4 Plus features a 5.5″ 1080p display, 16 MP rear-facing camera, fingerprint sensor, quick charging, and expandable storage via its microSD slot.
One of the things I personally appreciate about the Moto G4 Plus is how it’s not inundated with bloatware or unnecessary skins and features. It’s very close to the stock Android experience. The G4 Plus, while not a phone that power users will wish to adopt as a primary phone, is a great starter smartphone or secondary phone.
If you’re looking for more storage space and RAM, you can opt for the slightly more expensive model of the Moto G4 Plus with 64 GB of on-board storage and 4 GB of RAM. This model sells for $299 and includes a $50 Amazon gift card as well.
Of course, if you opt for the 16GB model, you can always use that $50 gift card to buy a fast microSD card to expand your storage and still have some extra cash left over.
