Besides some full-bodied speakers (especially at this price point), the ZTE Axon 7 Mini also packs a lot of power into a small package. You get a pair of cameras at 16MP and 8MP for the rear and front, respectively, a Snapdragon 617 processor, a fingerprint sensor, and a FHD 5.2-inch AMOLED display. As for its software, you get a customized version of Android Marshmallow. 37 Amazon customers gave the phone a rating of 4.1 out of 5 stars.

A more mainstream alternative at this same price would be the Moto G4, which is probably better in the software department but can’t beat the Axon 7 Mini in specs. That phone packs lesser cameras, half the storage space, and less RAM at the same price. You can probably find the Moto G4 at a better price if you keep it locked here at Electronicsforward, or you can save $50 by opting for an ad-supported model at Amazon.
