You never know what could happen to your car because you can’t always be there to witness it. There will be times when you have to park your car in unsafe areas or maybe someone accidentally bumps your vehicle in the parking lot. Well now you can be alerted to these events. The new Waylens Secure360 camera gives you a seamless 360-degree view around your car at all times even when you’re parked. It’s currently being funded on Kickstarter and it works for up to 15 days with out being recharged.
With the Waylens Secure360 camera you can see just about everything inside and outside around your vehicle. If you get into an accident or someone else hits your car while its parked you’ll have everything recorded. It uses radar, a 3 axis accelerometer and GPS to detect any unusual events. The best feature of this camera is that it keeps working long after you park your car and turn it off. It comes with a custom battery pack and with low-power sensors so it can keep an eye on your car for up to 360 hours or 15 days before it needs to be recharged.
The camera also works with an easy to use companion app and it can upload event data into the Waylens Cloud to keep evidence secure even of the camera is stolen or disabled. It has high-speed 4G bandwidth to deliver real time alerts and live streaming to your phone. You’ll get notifications instantly when there is an event right on your mobile devices. Also, you can get event video from Waylens Cloud from just about anywhere there is an internet connection.
Waylens Secure360 Automotive Security Cameras will give drivers a truly seamless 360-degree view both in and around the vehicle, automatically uploading video to the cloud for on-demand access and giving drivers unprecedented peace of mind. Available in two versions — a WiFi model and a 4G model with live alerts and live monitoring — the Waylens Secure360 puts in the palms of drivers’ hands the power to know, show and protect what’s important.
You will be able to choose from multiple viewing modes to see the full story of what happened to your car in just about any situation. It even can remind you of your car’s location if you forget where you parked it.
A pledge of $149 or more will you get you one from the super early bird special from its campaign. If all goes as planned backers will start getting the cameras in November of this year.
