Fitbit launches Flyer Bluetooth headphones with sweat resistance, 6-hr battery life, more

$130

Fitbit just announced their Ionic watch and now they’re back at it again with the Flyer. The Fitbit Flyer is a brand new pair of headphones from the fitness company that they say pairs perfect with the Ionic for workouts. The Flyer is Bluetooth driven and sports 6 hours of listening time, with a 15-minute quick charge that provides an extra hour of listening time.

Fitbit gives four reasons why they think you’ll love the Flyer; they sound amazing, they’re durable and stay put, they hold a “serious charge”, and they give you a ton of control. Providing passive noise isolation, the Flyer should help block out those annoying gym noises or pesky dogs barking on your morning run.

Also featuring rain, splash, and sweat resistance, they’re perfect for using in all conditions. Thanks to the wings and fins that Fitbit includes, they should have no problem staying in your ears either. Sporting a three button control box, you can adjust volume, pause/play music, change the track, and even accept a call while wearing the fitness-focused headphones.

The Flyer also boasts the ability to be connected to two devices at once, allowing you to connect two phones or even the Ionic and your phone at once, so you can not only listen to music but talk to your digital assistant at the same time.

The Fitbit Flyer goes on pre-order today from Fitbit’s own website for $129.95, select retailers will have the pre-order available tomorrow. Fitbit expects the Flyer to be available worldwide in stores and with major online retailers like Amazon in October, but there are no exact dates.
