Philips partner EPI has today announced the availability of its 27-inch QHD 276E8FJAB monitor. The new display features Philips’ Ultra Wide-Color technology that provides a wider gamut of colors. In conjunction with the IPS panel, the two help to produce better support across the color spectrum.
The $350 Philips 276E8FJAB features a narrow border around the display to help create a more immersive experience. Add that onto the 2560 x 1440 QHD, 16:9 screen and the 276E8FJAB becomes an excellent candidate for a multi-monitor setup. Unfortunately, this monitor doesn’t support USB-C connections but does have VGA, HDMI, and DisplayPort options.
The 276E8FJAB also combines Philips’ other technologies including Flicker-free, SmartContrast, and SmartImage Lite. Flicker-free helps regulate display brightness to avoid screen flicker and relieve eye stress. SmartContrast automatically detects the content on the screen and adjusts colors and backlighting to improve overall contrast. SmartImage Lite takes SmartContrast a bit further by enhancing contrast, color saturation, and sharpness all at the same time for a dynamic visual experience.
Philips 276E8FJAB 27-inch Monitor features:
- 27-inch IPS panel, 2560 x 1440 resolution @ 60Hz, 16: 9 aspect ratio, 109 PPI
- 350 CD/M2 brightness, 4ms response time, 20M: 1 dynamic contrast ratio
- VGA (Analog), DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4, Audio in/out
- Built-In Speakers: 3W x 2
- Ultra Wide-Color, Flicker-free, SmartImage Lite, LowBlue Mode, UltraNarrow Border
The Philips 276E8FJAB is available for order now, but is currently showing a 1 – 2 month backorder through Amazon.
