During last night’s Nintendo Direct event, the company showed more of its anticipated upcoming 3D Super Mario Odyssey title, Pokemon, the fantastic looking Xenoblade Chronicles 2, amiibo release dates and unveiled another notable Switch package. After announcing the Splatoon 2 Switch bundle late last month, Nintendo is now giving everyone’s favorite plumber the special edition treatment.

Before we get to the newly announced bundle, we also got to see more of Super Mario Odyssey for Switch including new levels and kingdoms. We caught a quick glimpse of Mount Volbono from the Luncheon Kingdom, more of the Cap Kingdom, Steam Gardens in the Wooded Kingdom and Fossil Falls.

But most notably we also saw Mario’s winter gear in the Shiveria Snow Kingdom stage, as well as Mario’s new swim trunk look in Bubblaine from the Seaside Kingdom. Yes, that is Mario topless.

Just before it detailed the new bundle we also learned about the new snap shot mode for Odyssey whereby players can freeze the game at anytime to take pictures. You can zoom the camera around in full 360-degrees after the game is frozen to get the perfect angle.

Much like the Splatoon 2 Switch bundle, the Odyssey version will sport a unique all-red Joy-Con colorway (kind of anyway), an add-on Switch carrying case, the game (in digital form) and the console itself.

This basically has the same price breakdown as the Splatoon 2 options at $379.99. The base console goes for $300, so you’re basically paying full price for the digital game and around $20 for the carrying case. So there is, once again, clearly no discount with these bundles. However, this can be a solid option for anyone looking to grab a Switch and Odyssey, considering we don’t expect to see any overly notable deals on Switch or Odyssey anytime soon, or ever for that matter.

It is available for pre-order at GameStop right now with a October 27th release date.

We now know Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will release on December 1st for Nintendo Switch. There is also a new Special Edition Switch Pro Controller currently up for pre-order. Here is the new footage:
