We’re nearly to November and that means retailers are beginning to unveil their plans for Black Friday 2017. Recently Target took the first step forward of the season and offered its initial plans for Thanksgiving week, which includes free shipping on all orders. Today, Best Buy announced that it would be offering the same convenience to its shopper beginning today through December 25th.
Like year’s past, Best Buy is now extending free delivery on all orders placed online. Of course, in-store pickup with be available at no cost to shoppers per usual. Waiving the shipping fee is particularly useful this time of year as more deals will fall below the previous $35 order minimum. Best Buy typically charges $5 or more for delivery on these orders.
On the official holiday shipping landing page, Best Buy has put together a handy guide with last chance dates to ensure free delivery by the holidays this year. Whether you celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas or Kwanzaa, you’ll find each scenario covered.
There will be some items that are excluded from Best Buy’s free shipping policy, but details at this time are rather vague:
Special order delivery items, some scheduled delivery items, and items displaying In Store Only or Check Stores are not available for free shipping. Not all items are available for all shipping methods. Offer valid 10/29/17–12/25/17.
As we roll into November this week, look for more major retailers to provide additional details about Black Friday 2017. A few days back we caught a glimpse of Kohl’s Thanksgiving week plans and expect more to follow suit in the coming days.
