Nintendo Switch Black Friday 2017 deals: LEGO City $20, Mario + Rabbids $40, more from $6

Nintendo is known for a lot of things — timeless games, iconic characters, awesome hardware — but discounts is not one of them. As we briefly mentioned on our Best of Black Friday 2017 gaming edition round-up, Nintendo typically celebrates this time of year with a special hardware release. In fact, this year we saw a pair of them by way of the Link Green Edition 2DS and the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Explorer’s Edition. But, one thing every Nintendo Switch owner needs is great deals on games and Black Friday 2017 is about to deliver…

This will be the first time Switch owners will have a chance to see big discounts on software and just about all major retailers are getting in on the party. So we thought it would be a good time to roundup the best games at the best prices we have seen in Black Friday 2017 ads thus far.

Before we jump in to the best game deals list, let’s quickly take a look at the hardware situation. Nintendo Switch itself is now readily-available at retail (for the most part) and it looks like most major game dealers will have them in-stock for the holidays. We are also seeing the Black Friday exclusive Link Edition Nintendo 2DS advertised in the GameStop, Best Buy and Walmart Black Friday flyers at $79.99.

You will see the recently released The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Explorer’s Edition listed at Walmart for $49 below, but it looks as though Best Buy will have it in-stock for Black Friday as well. However, it is still unclear whether or not Best Buy will allow GCU members to knock the usual 20% off for Black Friday. Considering this is essentially just going to be to be listed at full price, we will have to wait and see.

But for now, on to the games (and some accessories). Everything listed below is the lowest advertised Black Friday price we have tracked so far. As always, we are expecting to see some price matches at Amazon and elsewhere. All of which will be appearing in our daily game round-ups as they happen.
