X-Shock earbuds are truly wireless and light up to keep you safe at night

Headphones that are truly wireless are definitely becoming a must have item this year. The newest X-Shock by SOUL we’re looking at today are really in a category on their own as far as features go. Currently they’re being funded on Indiegogo, and while there’s only 10 days left in the campaign, they’ve already raised nearly $200,000, far surpassing the original $30,000 goal.

These headphones have the longest playtime of any wireless earbuds on the market we’ve seen so far. They also keep you wirelessly connected to all your iOS or Android devices and sport features you’re accustomed to. That’s right, your personal assistants are just a tap away with these earbuds. That means you never have to take your smartphone out of your pocket, giving you a genuine wireless, hands-free experience.

With other features like noise isolation and water-resistance, the X-Shock earbuds even have auto-pairing. The earbuds work with a rechargeable case that can refuel the ear pieces when they’re placed inside. The charger can power the earbuds up to 18 times offering 60 hours of run total runtime.

A new feature we’ve yet to see anywhere else is the built-in LEDs on the earbuds that aim to help keep you safe at night. Let’s say you’re someone who takes to the streets for a run or walk after hours, the X-Shock transparent white edition was built with your safety in mind. The internal LED’s will make sure that you are able to be seen even in complete darkness. When listening to your music, the X-Shock can alert those around you with very bright LED lights that can be seen from a distance.

You’ll be able to take calls while wearing the earbuds, and also interact with Google Assistant or Siri like we mentioned above. You can recharge the charging case with the micro USB input and there’s an LED indicator showing the remaining battery life.

Other features include an ergonomic design that keeps them in the ear during heavy activity as well as a couple different ear tip sizes to choose from that insure a good fit.

If you want to try out the X-Shock earbuds for yourself, a pledge of $119 or more will get you a pair from the Indiegogo campaign. That’s $50 off the expected retail value and the lowest currently available. If all goes as planned, shipping is expected to start in March of 2018.
