We’re under two weeks away until Christmas, and retailers are beginning to announce last chance offers and shipment cut-off dates. Amazon has officially released its plans for the next two weeks, with Prime members able to shop up until the 23rd with free delivery for Prime members. With Christmas falling on a Monday this year, it’s all the more important to be on top of your purchase plans in the coming weeks.
Along with Amazon, we’ve rounded up a number of other major retailers down below, including Walmart, Target, Best Buy and others. Hit the jump for more details including Amazon’s special Prime offers.
As it does each year, Amazon has now released its shipping deadlines for the rest of the month. Those without a Prime membership will want to have orders placed by the 15th, to ensure standard delivery by Christmas. Amazon offers free delivery on over 100 million products with prices starting at $25. Prime members have quite a bit more flexibility as the holiday shopping season winds down, here’s a look at the cutoff dates:
- Dec. 18: Last day for standard shipping, free w/ Prime
- Dec. 22: Last day for two-day shipping, free w/ Prime
- Dec. 23: Last day for one-day shipping, free w/ Prime
- Dec. 24: Last day for same-day delivery, free w/ Prime (order by 9:30 a.m. local time or earlier)
- Dec. 24: Prime Now offers Prime members free two-hour delivery windows (order by 9:00 p.m. local time or earlier)
- Dec. 24: Whole Foods Market stores and Amazon Books open Christmas Eve (store hours vary by location)
Those with access to a Prime Now location, Whole Foods or even Amazon Books will be able to shop until the 24th, if needed. Procrastination might actually be rewarded this year for some shoppers. Walmart is offering free two-day shipping on orders placed by the 23rd with some items available for in-store pickup through the 24th. Otherwise, standard shipping needs to completed by the 15th and 3-day orders done on the 18th.
Target is also offering free shipping through the 23rd but you’ll be upcharged if you need expedited delivery. In-store pickup is also an option here that may be worth it if you get in a jam on the 24th.
