When you think of 4K TV sets you don’t often picture them as being inexpensive, but with brands like VIZIO jumping in to the fray with new technologies we’re starting to actually see prices come down. Just recently, Westinghouse, a brand we commonly see out of Best Buy, announced it will sell 4K TVs starting at $350 for a 43-inch. It will also sell 50- 55- and 65-inch sets as well. Here’s our hands on coverage.
We’re not seeing any mention that these new TVs will offer HDR. They will, however, come with a max 120Hz refresh rate, built-in Wi-Fi and Google Cast. With Google Cast you get Google Assistant and Google Play Games along with the built-in Home hub that lets you stream Netflix, Hulu and others. As we mentioned above the 43-inch will be only $350 and while pricing on the other sizes hasn’t been revealed yet, we expect them to be just as competitive.
