LifeProof unveils new highly-protective backpacks for MacBook and active lifestyles

LifeProof has been a well-known brand name for a quite a while now. Alongside companies like Otterbox, it provides some of the toughest and robust smartphone cases on the market to keep your precious gear safe in the most rugged locales.

While the brand already offers other options like apparel, charging solutions, cables and more, today it is bringing its legacy in protective gear to the new active backpack lineup.

Perfect for on-the-go city life, out on the trails, or just about any other adventure you might find yourself on, the new LifeProof backpacks provide a similar focus on keeping your valuables safe like its popular case lineup. Whether it be the reinforced laptop/tablet pockets or weather-proof compartments, LifeProof has you covered here.

There are 4 different models varying slightly in features and starting from $99.99. The larger three options all have a padded laptop sleeve for your MacBook with a nice little easy access pocket for security lineups and the like. The laptop pocket doubles as a carrier for up to a 3-Liter hydration reservoir if you’re heading out for a hike. You’ll also find a “discreet” side stash pocket for important documents like your passport and a recessed water bottle pocket (two of the models have dual water bottle pockets, more details on that below).

All 4 models are made of a water-repellent CORDURA fabric and feature a fleece-lined weather-resistant pocket (perfect size for up to iPhone 8 Plus) with pass thru for your headphones and charging cables. You’ll also find a detachable chest strap for added comfort on each of the new designs.

The smallest of the new packs, the 18-Liter QUITO, does not include a laptop sleeve but it will sport your hydration pack and comes with a cinch-top and hood flap plus an adjustable tie-down. You’ll find more details on all 4 models down below.

Pricing goes as follows: The QUITO  goes for $99.99, the 20-Liter SQUAMISH will run you $139.99, the 22-Liter GOA carries a $159.99 price tag and lastly, the SQUAMISH XL is listed at $179.99. The new backpacks will be available “soon”, according the LifeProof, with three different color options: Stealth (black), Urban Coast (grey) and Rush (red).
