D-Link launches three new wireless HD home security cameras starting from $60

from $60

D-Link is one of the most well-known names when it comes to home networking, and now the company is launching new Wi-Fi cameras along with an enhanced mydlink app in the pipeline. The cameras range from base 120-degree field of view with cloud/local recording and no movement to full pan and tilt options, but keep reading for more details.

These cameras are more budget-friendly than most other options on the market, starting at $59.99 for the base HD camera, and going up to $99.99 for the Full HD with Pan/Tilt.

The best bang for your buck will likely be the highest end at $99.99, which features 1080p video, two-way audio, and full pan and tilt functions. The range of motion is 340-degrees and 110-degrees, which gives you quite a bit of coverage.

All cameras feature sound and motion detection, 16-Ft. of night vision reach, cloud and local recording, as well as Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and IFTTT integration.

The most budget-friendly of the lineup is $59.99 and features 720p video recording, sound and motion detection, as well as a 120-degree field of view. As this is a budget option, there is no speaker so two-way audio is not available.

The mid-tier level features a 137-degree field of view, two-way audio, and 1080p recording at a price of $89.99.

The redesigned mydlink app is more user-friendly and allows you to watch a live view of your cameras, receive alerts from triggers that you set up, and supports local recording to the microSD card onboard of the camera or playback of cloud storage.

Subscription wise, mydlink offers one free tier and three paid tiers. Starting at free, up to three cameras are supporting and you keep a rolling 24-hours of video in the cloud. Bump that up to $2.49/mo (or $24.99/yr), you can still only have three cameras but have a 7-day cloud recording option.

Premium is $4.99/mo (or $49.99/yr) and ups your camera limit to 5 and gives you 14-days of cloud recordings. The Pro tier is $9.99/mo (or $99.99/yr) and lets you use 10 cameras with 30-days of online storage time.

Compared to the hundreds other companies charge for their cameras, these are a great way to get into the smart home security scene without completely breaking the bank.

These new cameras are slated to be in stock at Amazon for $59.99, $89.99, or $99.99 around June 10th, but you can order them now in order to receive them at launch.
