WaterField’s new leather Transit Case will finally get your glovebox in order

WaterField, makers of some of our favorite Apple and device-specific accessories, are back today with a new option for your car. Just in time for Father’s Day, the new Transit Travel Case brings a touch of class to your glove compartment or trunk and is a great way to organize all your important travel documents and the like. Head below for more details.

As any avid Electronicsforward reader already knows, WaterField makes some of the best Apple accessories out there when it comes to bags. In fact, its entire lineup of carriers and wallets are some of the best options out there and today it’s getting even better.

The new Transit Travel Case is designed to rest neatly in your glove compartment (or anywhere you might want to stow it away). It has more than enough room to keep all your transportation-related documents organized and ready-to-go at a moment’s notice. Whether it’s your tire gauge or your insurance papers, WaterField’s new leather glove compartment case has you covered.

Ok so the made in San Francisco, 1050 Denier Ballistic Nylon (or Waxed Canvas) and full-grain leather treatment might be a bit overkill for the glovebox. But I for one would much rather keep this stuff in a gorgeous WaterField bag then some plastic $10 pouch that will be a mess in no time. I would imagine it’s also great for longer road trips where you might need your passport safe and secure.

Other notable features include a “naturally-tanned premium” full-grain leather flap with hidden magnet closure, splash proof zipper to keep your important docs safe, leather pen holder, and a series of optional attachments (more on those below).

On the inside, you’re getting a main compartment large enough for things like a tire gauge, some Tylenol, manuals, a small flashlight and things of that nature. It also has “gold lining” for visibility, according to WaterField. There are 4 internal pockets on-top of that and a series of card slots on the front which can be great for insurance, roadside assistance contacts, registration documents and more.

The new Transit Travel Case comes in black or brown for $99. It is up for pre-order now with a June 8th shipping date. The extra attachment includes an optional $15 leather wrist loop and a $7 nickel-plated brass carabiner.

Whether it’s the new Pro Leather Executive MacBook Backpack and FolioLeather VIA Wallet or the Atlas Executive duffle, WaterField has been pumping some of nicest Apple-gear friendly carries for a while now. It is well-known for its use of high-quality leathers, stitching and craftsmanship. But don’t take my word for it, check out our hands on reviews for a closer look at many of WaterField’s fantastic bags and more:
