When people think of standing desk packages, most equate that to being higher-end or expensive. Though true, standing desks have many benefits that can help outweigh the cost. UpDesk is one standing desk company that we’ve written about before, and I use one of the company’s BevelUp desks in my daily workflow. With prices starting at $999 for the BevelUp, it can be out of some people’s reach.
Well, today, UpDesk announced its latest product, the Home. This new desk is 60-inches by 30-inches and will set you back $595. This is for the desktop and leg combo, and with its modern design is sure to be a great addition to any house.
The UpDesk Home is the company’s latest offering and its most budget-friendly fully motorized standing desk. Until now, the BevelUp was the lowest-priced offering and if you wanted to go with something more affordable, you were limited to the desk converter EasyUp.
Though the EasyUp still beats out the Home in price, coming in at $299, it just adapts a normal desk to be a standing option. The Home is a full-fledged standing desk with two motorized legs and beautiful industrial design.
The UpDesk Home includes a 4-preset controller with automatic drive. This is great as you can preset it for both sitting and standing heights, and since there’s four presets you can even customize it for different heights for two people.
The height of the desk ranges from 27.75-inches to 45.25-inches and stops everywhere in between. This means that regardless of your height, or the size of your chair, this desk can be the perfect size for you.
UpDesk’s Home can lift a maximum of 175-lbs. Though not the amount of other offerings from UpDesk, 175-lbs should be plenty for all of your desktop necessities. You should be able to put just about everything needed on this desktop without reaching that weight limit.
There is a 2-year warranty included with the purchase of the UpDesk Home and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Shipping is included in the $595 price, so don’t worry about incurring some substantial delivery fee at checkout.
If you’ve been holding off on picking up a standing desk because of cost, UpDesk has just lowered the barrier of entry by $400 for its classy and quality lineup.
The UpDesk Home is estimated to ship in late July and is available for pre-order now from UpDesk’s website.
