Bethesda’s E3 2018 showcase: Fallout 76, Elder Scrolls VI & iOS, Starfield, more

E3 2018 is in full swing now. We got huge announcements from Microsoft this afternoon on Cyberpunk 2077 and Forza Horizon 4 just after EA showcased Battlefield V battle royale, Anthem and so much more the night before. Well now it’s time for Bethesda. There has been serious excitement leading up to this evening’s presser after Fallout 76 and Rage 2 hit early, and let’s just say, Bethesda certainly didn’t disappoint. All of the details and world premiere footage is down below.

Fallout 76 |

Bethesda teased Fallout 76 well ahead of E3 this year and then gave us even more footage this afternoon at the Microsoft event. Yes, it is 4 times the size of Fallout 4, set in the hills of West Virginia, and yes, it is multiplayer. Because “there’s no I in nuclear wasteland”.

Theories have been running wild but Todd Howard finally dished. Multiplayer is confirmed, but you can go it solo if you want. If you get online, “dozens” of players can explore the wasteland together, build bases, fight monsters (or each other) and so much more. We got tons of gameplay footage on top of the teaser from the Microsoft showcase earlier. You can see all that below.

You can now pre-order Fallout 76 at Amazon for $47.99 (Prime only) and Best Buy is offering an additional $10 credit along with the same 20% discount for its GCU members.

It is releasing on November 14th of this year!!!

…and Fallout Shelter is coming to Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch for FREE and available tonight!!

Starfield |

This is a brand new IP for Bethesda, the first in 2. We have heard rumors the company was going to space and it is now confirmed with Starfield. This is a very short teaser but you can feast your eyes/imagination above.

Rage 2 |

Bethesda started this one with a big thanks to Walmart Canada for leaking the whole thing early, but we now have gameplay footage of the new post-apocalyptic open-world title. You play as Walker, one of the last rangers of the wasteland, in a massive dystopian world. The FPS features loads of vehicular battles as expected, special character abilities and some intersting looking ground mobility while in combat. We got a healthy does of gameplay footage above.

The shortest teaser ever, but hey, there you go. It is still in pre-production.

The Elder Scrolls Blades |

The Elder Scrolls Blades is coming to iOS, PC, VR and more this fall for free. It is a massive first person RPG with console quality graphics and a “uniquely mobile experience”. It has full character creation, spells and the entire game can be played in portrait mode with one hand (landscape as well). It has various modes: Abyss is a rogue-like with endless dungeons, a story-like option with town-building and an Arena one-on-one mode

Wolfenstein YoungBlood |

Just a teaser here, but we are getting a new co-op game in the series starring BJ’s twin daughters. It’s in Paris and the trailer is above.

Prey Free Update/ DLC Trailer |

Prey is getting a huge free update with a new game+ and a survival mode, as well as a new trailer for its upcoming DLC. But maybe most interesting is the new Typhon Hunter mode DLC that is coming soon. It is a new PvP multiplayer mode. One player is human, 5 of them are mimics that can shapeshift into all kinds… of well, just about anything. It sounds like it could be really interesting.

Do yourself a favor and watch the Skyrim is coming to Alexa, Etch-a-Sketch and everything else trailer with Keegan-Michael Key.
