Sony shows Kingdom Hearts 3 Special Edition PS4 Pro Console bundle at E3 2018

The highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts 3 got a few good looks across the big E3 2018 showcase events. Square Enix gave us more during its presentation and then it also appeared with a new trailer and a brand new special edition PS4 Pro during the Sony press event last night.

It has been many years since we first heard word of Kingdom Hearts 3 but we finally have loads of new footage from Microsoft and Square Enix as well as a new trailer from Sony. This time we got a good look at the Pirates of the Caribbean world as well as characters from the Toy Story, Tangled, Frozen and Monsters, Inc. universes.

We are already seeing solid pre-order deals on the game, especially for those still lucky enough to have a GCU membership. With the program on its way out, now is one of the best times to capitalize on titles that are both 20% off and include a $10 credit. Kingdom Hearts 3 is one of those games. Head over to our E3 2018 pre-order roundup for that and read on for more on the new KH3 PlayStation 4 Pro bundle.

In between The Last of Us Part II, Spider-Man and Ghost of Tsushima, Sony quickly showed a new Kingdom Hearts 3 Limited Edition PlayStation 4 Pro console bundle. The intricate grey and white designs set on the flat black of the console might be subtle, but also one of the nicer special editions we have seen, if you’re in to that kind of thing anyway. It’ll include the matching DualShock 4 controller as usual.

The bundle looks as though it will not only include the new game but also a series of previously released titles in the franchise. Now available for pre-order, the Kingdom Hearts compilation bundle is also available on its own. It includes the HD 2.8 FINAL CHAPTER PROLOGUE, HD 1.5 +2.5 REMIX and the Kingdom Hearts III IMPOSSIBLE ODDS DYNAMIC THEME for $99.99.

While the bundle is yet to appear anywhere officially outside of the presentation as of yet, a Japanese listing for a similar option also includes “additional content usable in game: Weapon “Key Blade”. This listing does not seem to mention the extra games however.

We can expect the bundle to release sometime around January 29th, 2019 when Kingdom Hearts 3 does if Sony’s track record is any indication. Head below for all things E3 2018!
