Apple just announced its latest iPhone Xs, Xs Max, and XR devices and now it’s time to keep them protected. We’ve already seen cases from WaterField, Pad & Quill, Nomad, and others. Now it’s time to look at what Moshi has to offer.
These new cases come in many flavors for each device. From the Altra with its slim yet sleek style to StealthCover which is a 360-degree folio-style case that lets you see your phone and use FaceID without opening up the folio. Keep reading for more information on each case.
Probably my favorite from the lineup is StealthCover. This case is a folio-style, meaning it covers the iPhone’s screen. Folio cases normally have a wallet built-in, act as a stand, or do something similar with the flap. Well, StealthCover is not that way.
When StealthCover is closed, there’s an area for your Face ID to work. This is because the folio itself is semi-transparent so you can still see your screen when closed. This means you can easily check your notifications without opening your folio, meaning your device stays protected and is more convenient.
You also have Overture, which is another folio-style but more traditional. This case features a vegan leather wallet so you can keep your cash or cards in an easy-to-reach place on your iPhone, giving you the freedom to leave your traditional wallet at home.
iGlaze is a unique case that features a premium glossy finish to add some elegance to your phone. The frame is “shatter-proof” and the high-gloss looks unique. The iGlaze is designed to have a raised bezel to protect your screen and shock-absorbing corners to help protect against drops.
The SenseCover is somewhat similar to the StealthCover. It’s also a folio-style case, but it has a window at the top and a touch-sensitive part near the middle of the screen. This lets you use Apple Pay, FaceID, and even answer phone calls without opening the folio.
SuperSkin is an ultra-thin case that measures just 0.35mm thick. It’s “one of the slimmest cases in the world”, and is great for those who want scratch protection but still the ability to see beautiful colors like Apple’s new Gold that was launched this year.
Altra is a cute, slim, and sleek hardshell case that has a wrist strap. This is great for people who don’t want to potentially drop their $1,000+ phone and want it to look cute at the same time. Moshi says “… the removable wrist strap allows you to go hands-free for sleek convenience when carrying coffee, boxes, toddlers, pets, etc.”
Moshi is also launching a line of tempered glass for the iPhone Xs/Max/R that will keep your screens protected. Headlining is IonGlass and IonGlass Privacy, with the latter offering a method of keeping your screen safe from prying eyes.
All of this and more are available from Moshi.com. You can sign up to be emailed when the products are available for purchase.
