Our favorite books you should cozy up with in October: Nicholas Sparks, Kobe Bryant, more

When the weather cools down, one of my all time favorite things to do is pick up a new book. Plus, there are a lot of really great books to cozy up with this fall including love novels, thrillers, sport books and more. That’s why today we are rounding up the top books that will captivate you this fall.

If you’re a fan of mystery and thrillers, The Witch Elm by Tana French is a perfect option for you. Coming out October 9th, the thrilling story centers around a man whose memory keeps replaying a burglar who shows up in his home. As he struggles to recover from his injuries, a skull is discovered in the trunk of an elm tree at his property. The book unravels his memories to find out how the skull got there and what happened to him in his spooky past.

Also coming out on October 9th is a Winter in Paradise by the New York Times best-selling author Elin Hilderbrand. This love and mystery story, starts out on a cold and snowy night where everything seems to be perfect until she receives a shocking phone call. Her beloved husband, away on business, has been killed in a plane crash. She must first confront the details of her husband’s death on the distant Caribbean island of St. John. Being on this wonderful island she finds love, mystery and so much more.

Kobe Bryant has officially launched a new book and if you’re a basketball fan, this will be a must-read. In his new book, Byant wants to help you understand his perspective of the game. He takes readers on an unprecedented journey to the core of the legendary “Mamba mentality.” He also reveals his detailed approach and the steps he took to prepare mentally and physically to play the game. You can pre-order this book now that will be available on October 23rd.

Nicholas Sparks fans, get ready for another heart wrenching book called Every Breath. This is one that I definitely have on my list. The narrator has been dating a surgeon for over six years and with no wedding plans in sight, she heads to North Carolina to visit her father who was diagnosed with ALS. As she explores the town, she hopes to unravel some of the mysteries surrounding her mother’s early life and recapture memories lost with her death. As she crosses paths with a stranger, things get complicated.

Which book on this list are you most excited for? Let me know in the comments below.
