We now have the Walmart 2018 Toy Book. After seeing what will be the biggest toys of the year from Amazon, Target, eBay, Sam’s Club, Best Buy and many more, it’s time to see what Walmart is expecting to be popular over the next couple months. Stay locked to our Black Friday 2018 Guide as official ads/deals begin to roll out and head below for more on the Walmart 2018 Toy Book.
Walmart 2018 Toy Book
After seeing just about all the toy books from most major retailers now, it is safe to say some trends are developing. Much like years past, many of the same items in the toy category are popping up in most of the 2018 Toy Books. You can expect to see LEGO kits, L.O.L. Surprise sets, mini drones, NERF blasters and much more. This year Walmart is also using a series of toddler “toy experts” and toy influencers to help collate its 2018 Toy Book.
Walmart’s Top Picks for Toddlers
While we have seen a good selection of STEM-related toys from many other retailers, the Walmart 2018 Toy Book isn’t highlighting much learning gear. Instead, it is focusing on options for toddlers and younger children like L.O.L. Surprise, Hairdorables and PAW Patrol playsets. Clearly the L.O.L. stuff is expected to be a big deal this year as it has basically appeared in every toy book list we have seen thus far. Watch out for big time discounts there come Thanksgiving (or sooner).
Walmart’s Top LEGO/NERF/more Picks
Walmart is only pinpointing a pair of LEGO sets which are more for younger kids. But we are expecting loads of deals come next month as it has remained quite competitive with Amazon in this regard throughout the year. Walmart (and its toddler experts) is expecting the LEGO Creator Pirate Roller Coaster and the LEGO Friends Heartlake City Resort building kits to be popular among the youngsters this year. Regularly starting at $72, expect both of these kits to go at least $20 off for Black Friday 2018.
You’re best bet to staying on top of LEGO Black Friday 2018 deals is to hit up our guide right here. There will be some exclusive kits and everything you need to know about VIP memberships.
NERF and Hot Wheels kids highlight the rest of the top picks this year. Walmart’s 2018 Toy Book showcases the Nerf Modulus Ghost Ops Evader (currently $30, Reg. $37), but if last year is any indication there will be loads of NERF gear on sale next month. The $94 Hot Wheels Ultimate Garage Tower Shark Loop Racetrack Set also made the top of the list this year.
