Le Creuset’s New Calming Spring Colors have arrived with neutral perfection

Le Creuset, one of the most well-known brands in cookware, just launched a new spring line and we are in love. For the start of 2019, most of us have goals of staying organized and maintaining a calm home environment. With Le Creuset’s three new neutral color options — named Fig, Sea Salt and Meringue — these calming hues will add a feeling of zen to any kitchen space. Le Creuset describes its new line as “a thoughtful assortment of calming, comforting hues, inspired by current trends toward clarity and intentionality.” If you’re in the market for new kitchen items, keep scrolling to find our favorite pieces from this new collection below.

Meringue

The new Meringue shade mimics the color of the French dessert after its been toasted. It features over 50 new items in this color and the ivory touch will pair with any kitchen space. My favorite piece in this colorway is the 7.25-Quart Round Dutch Oven that’s priced at $380. This color looks so smooth and classic and I love the pop of silver at the top for the handle. The Dutch oven is great for winter stews, roasts and much more.

Sea Salt

Soft gray, green, and blue come together to create Sea Salt, which is the perfect seafoam green hue for spring. The 3.5-Quart Braiser in this color is a must-have at $300. This braiser is great for tenderizing meats, vegetables and more. Plus, like every piece from Le Creuset, it is dishwasher-friendly for an easy clean-up.

Fig

Just in time for spring, Fig is a warm and welcoming color and our personal favorite. This purple hue features earthy, deep violet tones with a subtle brown note for a beautiful color you will want to pick up over and over while cooking. It feature four classic items and the Signature Skillet is priced at $170 and will be a go-to in your kitchen. This 10-inch skillet is perfect for everyday meals and its large handle lets you move it seamlessly from the oven to the table. Even better, it’s glazed to help it stay vibrant and chip-free for years to come.

Coastal Blue

Finally, Le Creuset has also brought back a customer favorite, Coastal Blue, which was designed to be “airy and inviting” and will remind you of “clear morning skies.” While it’s not totally new like the colors before it, it’ll still make for a great springtime shade.

You can find each piece in the new color options at Le Creuset or Williams-Sonoma. Which new color was your favorite? Let us know in the comments below.
