LEGO’s 1,775-piece Technic Peugeot Hypercar falls to Amazon low of $160 (20% off)

Reg. $200 $160

Amazon is now offering a rare chance to save on the LEGO Technic Peugeot 9X8 24H Le Mans Hybrid Hypercar. This set launched just under a year ago and is only now seeing its first-ever Amazon price cut. The kit sells for $159.99 shipped and drops from its usual $200 going rate. This is 20% off and a new all-time low across the board. It’s about as rare as LEGO deals come and a great chance to bring home a highly-detailed sports car.

The new Technic Peugeot 9X8 hits the road as a celebration of 100 years of the famous Le Mans race. It arrives as set number 42156 and stacks up to 1,775 pieces. All of those bricks assemble a vehicle that measures over 19 inches long and 9 inches wide, giving the Peugeot 9X8 a design based on a 1:8th scale.

That packs in some authentic details like a V6 piston engine, working suspension, and a detailed exterior. Though my favorite aspect has to be the glow-in-the-dark headlights. It’s one of the more striking rides from the LEGO Technic lineup, and should stand out from the other vehicles we’ve seen as of late. Our launch coverage also explores just how this set stacks up if you’re still unconvinced.

Today’s deal comes just after seeing a collection of new LEGO sets hit store shelves. There’s a pair of massive models headlining the collection of all-new builds, including LEGO Dungeons and Dragons set and the new Batman mosaic.
