Not sold on the new M2 iPad Air? Previous M1 models are now up to $150 off from $449

$150 off From $449

The brand new iPad Air, complete with the M2 chip upgrade is now up for pre-order everywhere, but that also means some notable pricing is landing on the still more than capable and, now previous generation, M1 iPad Air. Over at Amazon, you’ll find Apple’s 10.9-inch M1 iPad Air with 64GB of storage down at $449 shipped and the upgraded 256GB model on sale for $599 shipped in various colors. Regularly $599 and $749, you’re looking at straight up $150 price drops that mark a return to some of the lowest prices we have tracked on my personal favorite iPad to date. For comparison’s sake, both models are on sale at Best Buy for $50 more right now. Yes, the new M2 models are available for pre-order and will begin shipping next week, but if you’re looking to bring your spending down, the M1 models are up to $150 less pricey right now. More details below.

The  M1 iPad Air features a 10.9-inch Retina display with True Tone, P3 wide color, and an anti-reflective coating alongside Touch ID in the power button, and a 12MP Ultra Wide front camera with Center Stage support. Sure the 64GB model isn’t going to be able to support power users or content-creators, but you can always jack-in an SSD via the USB-C port. And, frankly, I have always felt these previous-generation iPad deals make for a great way to land a second tablet, something for the kids, grandparents, and you know, that kind of thing anyway.

For those of you not convinced the $100 to $150 in savings is worth it here, I get it. Pre-orders on the new M4 iPad Pro and M2 iPad Air are at the ready with all of the different configurations listed out for you right here. And for all of you My Best Buy Plus members out there, you can actually land a $50 discount your M4 Pro pre-orders right now – here’s all of the details on that
