Apple’s latest entry-level AirPods 3 with Spatial Audio now down at $140 shipped, more from $80

Reg. $169 $140

While Apple’s beloved AirPods Pro 2 have jumped up $10 to $190 now, we are otherwise looking to round out the slate of AirPods deals with the current-generation Apple AirPods 3 down at $139.99 shipped. Now joining deals on the cult-hit 2nd generation model as well as the ongoing AirPods Max price drops below, you can now land the 3rd Gen set back down at $139.99 shipped. Regularly $169 with the Lightning charging case in today’s package, this is matching the lowest we have tracked from a reputable dealer – they are available via both Best Buy and Amazon at this price today. Head below for more details.

The Apple AirPods 3 are the latest entry-level buds in Cupertino’s lineup. While today’s deal does leave you with a wired-only Lightning charging case (the configuration with a MagSafe case sells for $189), the discounted price tag makes for a notable option for folks still using Lightning model iPhones. They also, at least in my circles, have somewhat of a cult following like the 2nd generation set – some folks just love the way they fit and just don’t care about the hi-tech features found in the pro-grade models. Having said that, you’re still getting Spatial Audio support alongside 30 hours of listening time and water-resistance action for your workouts and getting caught in a light rain.

Apple AirPods 3 features:

An Apple-designed dynamic driver, powered by a custom amplifier, renders music in exceptionally detailed sound quality — so you revel in every tone, from deep, rich bass to crisp, clean highs. Covered in a special acoustic mesh, an inset microphone in each earbud minimizes wind noise when you’re on a call — so your voice is always heard loud and clear.
