The new Jabra Elite 8 Active earbuds landed at the tail end of summer 2023, and have since been updated with new features like the brand’s wind cancellation tech that was announced at CES earlier this year. That’s on top of your traditional noise cancellation tech with various filters to deal with louder environments and other ambient noise – HearThrough lets you tune in when needed as well. All of which is supported by notable battery life – the buds themselves deliver 8 hours of listening time before you factor in the wireless charging case that ups the battery life to a total of 40 hours.
From there, you can expect to find an IP54 water-resistance rating and 1-meter drop protection for a workout- and summer adventure-ready build as well as AI tech to cancel out distracting backgrounds when making calls. This is, of course, joined by a platform agnostic setup that features Google Fast Pair support and multipoint Bluetooth – “use these wireless earbuds for iPhone, Android, smartwatches, PCs, tablets & more, without the need to reconnect.”
