One of my favorite features of iPhone is MagSafe. The way it allows a wide variety of products to seamlessly connect with iPhone using magnets is right up my alley. I also love multipurpose products that feature a compact form factor. UGREEN’s new 2-in-1 charging station appears to nail both of these things, with photos making me an immediate fan. When not in use, it’s a lightweight and pocketable square that you can quickly expand to create a magnetic charging stand for iPhone and also reveal a Qi charging pad that’s perfect for AirPods. UGREEN’s charging station looks great for home and travel

I don’t know about you, but I really like having a clutter-free desk and nightstand. For this reason I’m always drawn to products that have a dock of some sort, helping ensure every product has a place to recharge without getting in the way. For instance, both the 8Bitdo Ultimate controller and one of Belkin’s wireless chargers adorn my desk, keeping things tidy, topped off, and within reach while I work.

UGREEN’s new charging station strikes a similar chord, but takes things ever further in the write direction with its collapsible design. When not in use, it can fold down and be quickly thrown in a bag so you’re organized and ready when you arrive at your next destination. Best of all, it’s compact too. Measuring 2.4 by 2.4 by 1.5 inches, it’ll likely fit in the palm of your hand. It’s unclear the exact weight, but the Amazon listing suggests it clocks in at around 10-11 ounces.

One thing to bear in mind is that this device does not have Qi2 onboard, so you’re looking at 7.5W charging for iPhone and up to 15W for other devices. Beneath the magnetic charger, you’ll also find an integrated 5W Qi pad that’s perfect for AirPods and other earbuds equipped with a wireless charging case. There’s also a 5W USB-C port along the side, that’s perfect for a portable Apple Watch charger like this one from Anker. The hinge appears to be flexible so you can dial in the perfect height and angle as well.

UGREEN touts that this charging station is roughly “40% smaller” than competing devices, making it a more compelling product for folks who frequently travel. The price isn’t too bad either, with an MSRP of $39.99. Best of all, early adopters can lock in a 20% launch discount that comes in the form of an on-page coupon over at Amazon, bringing the cost down to $31.99.
