Nomad debuts gorgeous new Horween leather Passport Wallet and magnetic Pen Edition

Brand new From $90
Nomad leather Passport Wallet

Just after featuring the brand’s fantastic new Find My Wallet Tracker Card – I love this thing, Nomad has returned to its Horween leather action with the debut of its new Passport Wallet today. After two years of development, the brand feels it has landed on what might very well be the perfect leather passport holder ever made. Nomad is once again leveraging Horween leather from the USA and a number of details and touches throughout to deliver a pair of new Passport Wallet models to join you at the departure gate for your next flight and, judging by the build quality, probably every flight you take for years to come. They are now available for purchase (or will be momentarily) and you can get a closer look down below.

Beautiful new leather Nomad Passport Wallet

The new Nomad Passport Wallet enters with a familiar form-factor, not much larger than a typical passport itself, with a supple leather build and a thermoformed shape – it’s soft to the touch and slightly bendable, but also holds its shape nicely whether your credentials are inside or not.

The interior is mostly leather as well, but you’ll also find microfiber lining inside of the card slots, passport compartment, and magnetic quick access flap for other travel documents.

There are four traditional card slots (for anything the size of a credit card or one of the brand’s new Find My Wallet card trackers) as well as the main passport compartment, a second just like it, room for some cash perhaps, and an interior slot for a SIM card and removal tool.

There are two different models available. The Pen Edition with a steel/aluminum pen included alongside a magnetic slot down the spine of the holder to stow it away, and the standard Wallet Edition without the pen action.

Features at a glance:

  • Horween leather from the USA
  • Slim thermoformed shape
  • Protective microfiber lining
  • 4 card slots
  • 3 larger slots including one passport slot
  • Quick access flap with magnetic & silicone attachment for travel documents
  • Interior slot for SIM card and removal tool

The new base model Horween leather Nomad Passport wallet carries a $90 list price while the pen edition lands at $130. Both models are available for purchase starting today (any minute now, in fact).

The only way to make them any better, if you ask me anyway, is to scoop one of the brand’s flawless new Apple Find My Wallet Card trackers to ensure you never lose your most precious piece of travel kit. I guess you could argue they should have just built one into the new passport wallets, but this way you can use the card in your traditional wallet when at home, or both when you arrive at your travel destination.

I have one of the Nomad leather passport wallets front of me right now, but it just arrived at the office so I’ll need some time to really put it through its paces…my full review is coming soon.
