The 2024 summer Prime Day will take place on July 16 and 17 this year. It’s official folks. Amazon has now announced this year’s summer Prime Day dates – the festivities will be kicking off on July 16, 2024 and, as usual, carrying through to end of day on July 17. The 48-hour event is now officially on the books and we will be here working literally around the clock – I’m not just saying that, we literally (almost) don’t sleep at all for two-days – to ensure as much of the money you worked hard to earn stays in your pocket while still being able to bring home some sweet gear. Hit the jump for more details.
Prime Day 2024 will take place on July 16- 17
When is Amazon Prime Day? Amazon Prime Day will officially kick-off at 3 a.m. PT on July 16 and carry through July 17 before it all shuts down at 3 a.m. on July 18.
As we detailed previously in our prep for Prime Day feature, Amazon’s now twice-yearly Prime Day event has become one of, if not, the biggest shopping events of the year – easily rivaling the once lone king of the discount calendar, Black Friday.
Offering up massive price drops across just about every product category, from Apple products to groceries, smart home gear to e-bikes, and chargers to apparel, plus literally just about everything in between, the big-time money-saving season is about to begin, and we are here every step of the way.
Amazon will offer constantly rotating price drops on its soon-to-be temporarily re-branded Prime Day home page throughout the 2-day event (some of the in-house Amazon tech is already starting to go live now). We will be using our in-house tracking tech to make sure nothing slips through the cracks, all while manually scraping each and every listing we can manage to find over the course of the event (and well beforehand to be clear). Some sites will point you towards popular products that just look like they are on sale, and we will be posting the items that are actually at notable prices, much like we do every other day of the year.
One thing to keep in mind here, for the uninitiated that is, Prime day is well, just for Prime members. You’ll need to be a paid Amazon Prime member to take advantage of just about all of the best price drops across all of the products categories. Needless to say, you’ll want to make sure your Prime account is in order and ready to go come July 16 – we have already outlined some ways for some folks to save some serious cash on these Prime memberships. Not to mention the FREE trials that, if timed correctly, can get you in the game without spending a nickel before the deals go live.
Be it how to get a deal on Amazon Prime membership, how to get the best deals on Prime Day once your membership is set, or how to find the best Prime Day deals, everything you need to know is right here.
Having said all that, all you really need to do is follow us on everything to make sure you don’t miss what you’re really after.
