LEGO officially reveals upcoming 75389 The Dark Falcon + 75393 TIE Fighter and X-Wing Mash-Up sets

Pre-order New sets!

LEGO has officially unveiled two of its upcoming LEGO Star Wars building sets that are inspired by the Rebuild the Galaxy Disney+ special. Now available for pre-order, both 75389 The Dark Falcon and 75393 TIE Fighter and X-Wing Mash-up sets are slated to release on August 1, 2024. Get more details alongside a closer look with clearer images down below.

These new building sets (alongside the animated special) add a playful twist to the classic canon events of the Star Wars saga. Posing “what if” scenarios along the lines of Darth Vader being a Jedi, Jar-Jar Binks taking his place among the Sith, or favorites like the Ewoks or C3-PO falling into the bounty hunting game – these two builds arrive to turn the LEGO Star Wars universe upside down with chaotic glee.

The first of these two new builds is the 75389 The Dark Falcon, which flips the story on everyone’s favorite Kessel Running ship to one of wild imagination. It stacks up to 1,579 pieces, transforming the iconic Millennium Falcon into its Sith-aligned doppelganger, topped off by a Death Star composite beam superlaser dish, albeit at a smaller and less destructive scale. Along with the ship, there’s also equally wild minifigures to accompany it: Beach Luke, Jedi Vader, Bounty Hunter C-3PO, Darth Dev, Darth Jar Jar, and Darth Rey.

And keeping pace with The Dark Falcon is the 75393 TIE Fighter and X-Wing Mash-Up set, stacking up to 1,063 pieces. Here, you’ll find everything you need to build both an X-Wing alongside a TIE Fighter, with the added bonus of fusing the two in order to better fit the redesigned universe’s wild scenarios. Along with the ships, there’s also five minifigures: Yesi Scala, Sig Greebling, a Rebel Pilot, a TIE pilot, and the wonderfully named L3-GO (wink, wink) Astromech Droid.
