Both Samsung and Amazon are clearly looking to move some of what will soon be the previous-generation wearables while promoting upcoming pre-orders of the new Galaxy gear by essentially handing out FREE $50 credits for nothing. But if you’re not the type to need the latest and greatest, Samsung, Best Buy, and Amazon are once again offering 43mm Galaxy Watch 6 Classic models starting at $329.99 shipped. Regularly $400, this is a straight up $70 price drop on par with the lowest we have seen at Amazon with this sort of selection. Going straight to Samsung for the deal will yield more case and band options alongside up to $200 in trade-in credit and the larger 47mm model down at $359.99 – just note we have seen some wild deals on this one for less.
As we mentioned above, you can indeed score the more basic Galaxy Watch 6 model at as much as $100 off right now with most configurations sitting at $90 off. This is very much a perfectly capable smartwatch and a solid choice when it comes to wearables, but there’s just something about the notched, coin-style rotating bezel on the Classic the elevates the wearing experience for me to justify the up-charge, especially when it’s on sale. The bezel can even go diver-style with these $19 Spigen add-ons.
Beyond the aesthetics here, Galaxy Watch 6 Classic remains an intelligent choice, complete with Advanced Sleep Coaching, the always-on heart monitor, and the BIA sensor that provides readings on body fat, skeletal muscle, body water, Body Mass Index (BMI) and more. All of which joins fitness and health tracking (duration, distance, calories burned, running, swimming, and 90 other exercises) showcased on the Super AMOLED screen for messaging, video chat, and more.
