Today’s game deals: System Shock remake down at $28, Metal Gear Solid Collection $30, more

Reg. $40 $28

If you know immersive sims, than you know System Shock. But you might not have realized the remake just dropped to the lowest price we have tracked yet on the PlayStation and Xbox digital storefronts at $27.99. The physical copies are still sitting at $40 on Amazon, but you can now score a digital version on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S at 30% off. For those unfamiliar, the original System Shock was one of the first major immersive sims, paving the way for games and franchises like BioShock, Deus Ex, Dishonored, and many others. While perhaps not the sort of game that has aged all that well in terms of fidelity, the remake puts a shiny coat of paint on the experience to bring it into the current-generation. Take to the halls of Citadel Station with “all-new HD visuals, updated controls, an overhauled interface, and all-new sounds” to face off against the psychotic AI SHODAN in an attempt to avert humanity’s destruction. If that sounds epic to you, it ought to, because it very much is. Head below for more of today’s best console game deals.
