LEGO officially unveils new 41839 Message Board set with emoji tiles set for August release

First look New Set!

Going right along with yesterday’s leaked photos of the new LEGO 41838 Travel Moments set, LEGO has officially revealed another new set that will be apart of the now confirmed family theme: The 41839 Message Board, which is eyeing an August release date. This new LEGO sub-theme is focused on family time – whether that is planning and taking trips across our globe or sending cute messages to each other to remind us that we love and are loved. We’ve got plenty of info and pictures to share with you down below, with pre-orders not yet open.

Stacking up to 1,743 pieces, the LEGO 41839 Message Board set gives you all you need to build up to 30 letters from the Latin alphabet in order to create word art messages that can be displayed around your home. There’s some ingenious brick-work here that lends to a beautiful and aesthetically pleasing design, with some clever use of negative space for the font – though, it should be mentioned that the font is limited to its one style/type, which some might consider a missed opportunity, but I don’t necessarily mind. You’ll also be able to further spice up your messages with 10 stickered tiles that sport various emoji.

This kit will officially release August 1, 2024 for LEGO Insiders, with a general release date of August 4 for everyone else, with prices locked in at $99.99 shipped once it’s available. It releases alongside (or on the heels of) nine other known sets: 75385 Ahsoka Tano’s Duel on Peridea75388 Jedi Bob’s Starfighter, 75389 The Dark Falcon75392 Creative Play Droid Builder75393 TIE Fighter & X-Wing Mash-up, 75394 Imperial Star Destroyer75396 Desert Skiff and Sarlacc PitLEGO 75398 C-3PO, as well as the LEGO Technic 42174 Emirates Team New Zealand AC75 Yacht and the LEGO Ideas 21350 Jaws set.

Taking a cue from its box design, this is definitely confirmation that LEGO has a new theme in the works, sporting similar packaging art as the leaked 41838 Travel Moments set. It’s likely that the company will be rolling out more of these family-focused kits in the second half of 2024, which I generally love cause it’s the families that build together that laugh and love together. Plus, compared to a few smaller kits we’ve seen priced far higher, this one seems to be at a good rate for the endless amount of possibilities it can bring into your home.

We will update you with pre-order availability as it becomes available to us. In the mean time, please enjoy the photos below.
