This regular $40 smart camera debuted earlier this year just after we had a chance to give it a test run ahead of launch, but today’s deal at $19.95 shipped for Prime members is the very best yet. There has been some notable one-day offers at Best Buy that undercut the previous $30 low at Amazon, but nothing quite as low as the straight up 50% drop we are tracking ahead of Prime Day this year – it could drop lower next week, but it’s very hard to believe at a price like this.

As you’ll know from our hands-on review, we had a chance to test this camera system out for a few weeks before it was unveiled to the public and throughly enjoyed our time with it. It’s certainly not one of those fancy, high-end HomeKit cameras, but at just $20, there’s some serious value here. It delivers 1080p feeds directly to your smartphone alongside two-way talk, and an onboard spotlight for better visuals in low light conditions, and more. I also love how you can add the outdoor kit (for just $10 more today) to transform the indoor camera into one you can use outside too.

While it is generally a solid experience even without the Blink subscription plan. It is also worth mentioning the new Blink Moments feature. It does require the $10 per month subscription plan, but it’s also a very interesting feature – it will automitically edit together chronological events from each of your Blink cameras so you can quickly see what happened from valorous angles without having to do it yourself.
