LEGO Horizon Adventures pre-order details, digital deluxe extras, release date, more

We’ve already gotten some recent LEGO partnership news that has plenty of builders abuzz with excitement, like the LEGO Group joining Formula 1 to bring us more high-speed sets or the team-up with Nike that has teased plenty of co-branded mystery, but yesterday we got even more highly anticipated news as LEGO and Guerilla Games finally announced the official release date for the upcoming LEGO Horizon Adventures video game! You can also head below to get more information and check out the official pre-order trailer.

Coming to us from yesterday’s State of Play PS5 event, and running right alongside the lineup of other video games that we covered from the event, the joint-effort from LEGO and Guerilla Games will be taking us back to the 31st post-apocalyptic century once more and giving our fearless protagonist, Aloy the digital brick-built treatment. The dropped trailer, which we’ve included below, gives us some good looks at what we can expect from the gameplay on top of showing off some of the skins from the game too.

The LEGO Horizon Adventure video game will officially launch on November 14, 2024 for PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch, while pre-orders will open on October 3, 2024, with folks able to place their pre-orders through the PlayStation Store, Steam, Epic Game Store, and the Nintendo eShop. If you pre-order, you’ll unlock a new Shield Weaver Skin, plus additional in-game goodies.

The Digital Deluxe Edition comes with several exciting bonuses:

  • Roller Coaster Customization | No need to choose between roof or coaster; you can have both and bring some theme park fun to Mother’s Heart!
  • Three iconic Horizon outfits | Pay homage to Aloy’s adventures in the icy north with the Banuk Armor, channel your inner Eclipse with the Shadow Stalwart outfit, or fight metal with metal as “Alloy” Aloy!
  • Ratchet and Rivet outfits | Join the thrilling journey as intergalactic super-mechanic Ratchet or trans-dimensional Resistance fighter Rivet.
  • Sackboy outfit | Trading cloth and stuffing for bricks and studs, LittleBigPlanet’s Sackboy is available to join the party!

I cannot tell you how excited I am for this next iteration of Aloy’s journey, especially as I’ve spent a lot of free time in the last few weeks re-playing Zero Dawn and Forbidden West. I’m very much interested to see just how much the adrenaline from the original series mixes in with the charming fun that we know and expect from LEGO games. And out of all the great skins I’ve seen that will be included, I’m a sucker for puns and definitely want to get my hands on the ‘Alloy” Aloy one.
