Bose just debuted a new retro-chic SoundLink Home Bluetooth Speaker, check it out

Last we heard from Bose it debuted its new next-gen QuietComfort buds, but today it is introducing its new Bose SoundLink Home Bluetooth Speaker. Available exclusively from Bose (at least for the time being), the new SoundLink Home delivers a new, almost retro-inspired look and feel to the brand’s lineup with a $219 price tag. Scope it out down below.

The all-new Bose SoundLink Home Bluetooth Speaker is described as a wireless speaker made exclusively for use at home with a design made to pump out that world-class audio quality the brand is known for from a relatively compact footprint.

It delivers 9 hours of wireless battery life on a single charge – it takes roughly 4 hours to recharge it back to 100% – and can link up with another SoundLink Home to deliver fully-synced stereo sound throughout your space. It features the expected Bluetooth 5.3 action so you can wirelessly stream tunes from your smart devices of choice from up to 30 feet away.

Available exclusively from Bose, the all-new SoundLink Home Speaker brings standout sound from a size that fits in, while chic touches add a premium feel and sleek good looks. Its wireless, too, so you can add music to any room of your home — from bedroom to kitchen and back — matching the space to your musical mood.

All of that is to say the real standout features of the new Bose home speaker, aside from the usual sound quality, are very much the looks and more premium build here. Many of the Bose speaker releases in the past don’t really standout all that much from the pack, but your eye might very well get drawn to this one in a lineup with the competition. The ”chic,” as Bose describes it, design is made of a combination of aluminum, nylon, plastic, silicone, and steel with a fabric-wrapped exterior and a sort of floating design above the handle-style footing.

The new Bose SoundLink Home Bluetooth Speaker is now available for purchase in both Cool Gray and Light Silver at $219 shipped
