MacBook Air 13-inch M1

For some the previous-generation Apple gear is underwhelming at best. But for others it presents an opportunity to score what was very much a top of the line machine just a few years ago with a serious deal, and that’s what we are looking at right now. Best Buy is offering the 13-inch M1 MacBook Air down at $509.99 shipped. This is no M3 machine, nor is it an M2, but we are talking about a perfectly good casual laptop that carried a sticker price at $999 originally and still sells for $759 in refurbished condition from Apple

Again, this is not the latest and greatest, and not by a long shot. But we are talking about a brand new Apple MacBook Air at $510 here. For comparison’s sake, the M2 model starts at $849 on Amazon right now and the latest M3 is going for $999 on sale. So we are looking at nearly 50% off the latest model and $339 under the M2.

There’s no denying this is an older machine, but there’s also no denying the value here. Maybe you just need a secondary beater, something for the kids, or to send the teens off to college without spending a fortune. Either way, this M1 machine is still eligible for fresh new macOS updates down the line and is compatible with the upcoming Apple Intelligence features.
